Prince of Peace
For far to many people Christmas is anything but peaceful. We get distracted with all the stuff going on around us. We forget sometimes what the true meaning of Christmas is. The birth of Jesus. But Jesus birth, life and death is more that just Christmas. It's what life is about. The reality is, Christ is better than life. Christmas isn't the only time that's about Christ. Life is really about Christ everyday. I pray that you have a Merry Christmas.

Isaiah 9:6
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace"
I praise the Lord that we have an Everlasting Father who is compassionate towards us. And it's great to know that we don't have to do anything to receive His compassion. It's not about what we do, it's all about who we be. We also have an Everlasting Father also cares for us, and is always there for us.
Take the time over this Christmas Season, and climb into the lap of our Everlasting Father and let Him wrap His arms around you and give you rest.
Matthew 11:28-29 "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul."

Christmas
How awesome it is that over 700 years before Jesus was born Isaiah prophesied about his birth. Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
We have a Wonderful Counselor who guides us. We have a Mighty God who protects us. We have a Everlasting Father who cares for us. And we have the Prince of Peace to sustain us.
Remember, it OK, to say Merry Christmas.

Thailand Missions
As I sit here today thinking about the children in Thailand that I have had the joy of
ministering to over the past four years, it breaks mt heart to see the great need that
they have. Some of the families sleep under blue tarps just to stay dry, and they have need of jobs, food and clothing. It's been a blessing to be a small part of what Jesus wants us to be to help meet the needs. What a blessing for me to be His hands and feet to these people who are far from God. As we share Christ love and hope, we receive smiles and hugs. I am so thankful to the Father for allowing me to be a small part of His plan. I am looking forward to my next trip June of 2011. Why don't you come and join me? Have a blessed Christmas.
